New York: This season Mona Kowalska presented a collection built on the quirky layering of of textures, patterns and silhouettes. A contrasting mix of influences also added interest to the assortment—tailored items in wool suitings and large plaids had an intellectual feel, while athletic mesh and cartoonish lightning bolts gave things a playful street vibe. — Anna Jane Davis
