Paris: Dries Van Noten never fails to delight and surprise his avid followers and this Spring/Summer collection was a no exception. It all began with the ‘tweeting’ of the feathered variety – setting the mood while models glided over a bed of feathered moss. A fresh take on a Bohemian feel mixed with Eastern sensibility prevailed in signature separates – realxed soft trousers, oversized blazers, bomber jackets, T-shirt tunics, shorts and lighter-than-air dresses with asymmetric hems – all in a variety of beautifully pieced watercolour florals and richly coloured stripes. Belted shirts, richly coloured brocade coats, sequin tops, and indigo pinstriped jackets rounded out this exquisite lineup. – Lizzy Bowring
