Following the launch of our Workout Trends 2015, the Active team decided it was a good time to get out and practice what we preach. So massive thanks to Lexie Sport founder Lily Rice, who invited us along to her pop-up shop and ‘Health Hub’ in Old Street tube for a early morning workout on Friday. The Hub is a women only 360 experience that aims so offer ‘more than just retail’.
And it did. I am still feeling the effects of the Sculpt and Tone class with professional dance and fitness instructors Dance Mix but have to say my face muscles ached just as much from smiling during the incredibly fun class as my glutes did from the squats!
Once that was over, there was a chance to browse the collections and chat to Lily over a much needed Vitacoco. Womens fitness, especially in the UK, it on fire at the moment and it brands like Lexie that are leading the charge. It’s great to see the collection has evolved, moving away from the monochrome palette with some midnight shades and adding some new pieces. This is a collection designed by women for women – no compromise on fashion v function – it strong and fashion-forward and confident.
And I’m look forward to taking the kit for a text drive !
