Paris fashion week plays host to some of the coolest accessories designers, with lust-worthy bags from Chloe to stand out shoes from Dior. These heritage fashion houses are known for their classic designs that stand the test of time and with seasonal updates that are perfect for a Millennial crowd (and their Instagram feed). I mean, these Dior kitten heels are still causing a stir, a full season later, proving the power of accessories.
This season in Paris, brought an unexpected mix with the classics too. Remember the most-tweeted about pair of shoes to hit the catwalk? Those Christopher Kane Crocs in London for S/S17? Well this season in Paris, Balenciaga followed suit. The label launched platform Crocs that once again almost broke the fashion Internet. Like marmite, some fans loved this footwear update, while others were saddened that the great Cristóbal Balenciaga name is now associated with such a generic, but high comfort and popular shoe. And for bags, we witnessed it all, from harnesses to two bags designed as one, giving the wearer maximum value for money.
