It’s Friday (get excited). To celebrate the fact that the weekend is here, I’ve curated a list of things to try, see & do to amp up your weekend…Have fun! Snap for Insta! and tag @wgsn if you make it to any of these. I’ll be grabbing brunch at Fucina, maybe see you there? 🙂

 

Go for brunch at… Fucina, Marylebone. Do pizza for breakfast the right way, with a variety of yummy toppings including the obligatory poached egg. Classic’s like eggs Benedict and avo toast are given an Italian twist.

Go shopping at… Vanessa Seward’s first UK space in Notting Hill. A  glamorous boutique decorated in the designer’s signature midnight blue, the store stocks her newest SS17 collection, including a selection of gorgeous accessories that are worth a browse regardless of your budget.

 


 

Spend the afternoon at … Portraits Exhibition at The Brick Lane Gallery. Check out this exceptional selection of contemporary portraits in a variety of formats, from sculpture and photography to delicate pastel drawings.

    Have a dance at… Hop on the South London Soul Train, a monthly feel good party of soul, jazz and funk anthems hosted at the warehouse style Chronic Love Foundation building in Peckham. soul train Go for dinner at….Bad Sports Tacqueria on Hackney Road, for some of the best steak tacos around. Order sweet potatoes with honey and camomile, plus some pickled chilli quesadillas. Prepare yourself, food comas are inevitable.

Go for cocktails at… Bad Sports Bar. Head down here after dinner for the infamous Buckfast Negroni (seriously) or sample a frozen banana daiquiri. If you dare, order a shot of ‘Unnecessary Roughness’… just maybe not on a school night.
