3.1 Phillip Lim

SEVENTIES SOJOURN
New York: Phillip Lim is another designer that has reverted to the seventies for inspiration for the Cruise season. Lim gave this particular era a tongue in cheek update with undulating hemlines on shift dresses, slightly flared hems to slim leg pants and suede dresses trimmed with oversized eyelets.  There was also a strong influence from YSL’s Safari collection but constructed in modern fabrics and unusual color combinations. – Lizzy Bowring
