10 reasons to join At Mine – the new social network for interiors geniuses
By Laura Reynolds

So, you’re a budding interiors prodigy/ full-blown interiors Einstein? Either way, you’ve got to sign up. It’s like Pinterest – but better, says WGSN Associate Editor Laura Reynolds

Are you a budding interior designer? Or in need of some inspiration when it comes to styling your shelfies? Say hello to at{mine} – the brand-spanking new Pinterest-esque site where members share photos of their interior style.

Not sure whether you should sign up to ANOTHER social network? Here are 10 reasons why we think you definitely give it a try…

1. If you’ve got a can of Annie Sloan in the shed but still not quite had the light bulb moment to know what to do with it, at{mine} has a section dedicated to DIY to get your creative juices flowing!

2. Unlike Pinterest – you can’t re-pin but you can favourite images you love. This keeps your feed free from the same images over and over (and over and over…) again. Hallelujah!

3. The monthly #StyleAtMine competition gets members sharing their home styling skills, while joining a community of inspiring individuals. August’s challenge is children’s bedroom, so put those toys away and show off your little nippers space.

4. It’s a free pass to be nosey! You know those stylist/bloggers you love following on Instagram? Well now you can see inside their incredibly designed homes in a way that’s legit, not creepy – yay!

5. Tagging images make it’s easy to pinpoint particular household items. In the market for a new sofa? Be inspired by browsing all tagged images and create a folder of those styles you wouldn’t mind getting for yourself.

6. Learn cute stories about certain rooms or furniture pieces, with members often writing captions like ‘We love to have breakfast at this place. You can watch the birds and the people on the street while enjoying your coffee. Everything is vintage from my grandparents’ Who knew you could swoon over someone’s kitchen like that!

7. Track trends! Have you gone off copper but not sure what metallic is next? See what crops up on your at{mine} feed over the next few months…

8. The website is clean, tidy and user friendly. Ideal for minimalist fans as well as for simple browsing and exploring.

9. Go shopping! Users are able to link items to their origins (if they don’t mind sharing the info!) Love those bathroom textiles you just saw? Discover what brand they are by clicking and then make an investment yourself.

10. Be confident in your own style and inspire others! at{mine} describes itself as being at {yours}. Get signed up and sharing now. Your at{mine} is going to be incredible…

MICRO TO MACRO: Our Lifestyle & Interiors team are at every trade show, event and opening delivering the latest news, trends and everything in between to our subscribers. It’s kind of amazing when you think about it. Sound good? Join WGSN.
