WGSN is looking for a kick ass marketer to work in our Asia Pacific team in Hong Kong

Responsible for the successful marketing and promotion of WGSN in 8 countries; meeting or exceeding the response rate goals, lead generation targets and pursuit account results as well as maintaining customer engagement & brand.   • Target and close new bookings from assigned territory of prospects – driving all aspects and stages of the sales from prospecting to closing.

  • Forecast your business on a timely and accurate basis each week for the month and quarter.
  • Position WGSN as a strategic resource to our prospective clients.
  • Use analytical skills to understand our prospective clients’ changing business initiatives and needs.

Head UK Sales

Responsible for:

Head of UK Sales will be responsible for driving new business sales to reach target, open up new opportunities and establish new partnerships to maximise the growth potential in this fast moving market. Responsible for managing a team of sales people and recruiting new team members as necessary.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The Head of UK Sales will be responsible for owing all aspects of sales growth in the UK, managing costs to within agree targets and helping to create new sources of revenue. Managing a team of New Business Sales the UK Country Manager will ensure that that the UK has the appropriate structure and skill sets and tools to ensure they are fit for purpose in growing this most important territory. An important part of this role is creating and rolling out new tools and measurement metrics that can be rolled out across Europe. Ensure Sales Operations are properly controlled.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities in the UK.
  • Share with European Country Managers best practice techniques and methodologies.
  • Ensure that the European Sales and Marketing plans are filtered through to the local team to ensure that all sales people have their own executable plans.
  • Perform performance reviews and create appropriate personal accountability plans.
  • Work collaboratively with team members in all European countries to optimise tool development, pricing strategies, pipeline creation and intelligence sharing in order to ensure maximum growth potential of all UK Sales and Services.
  • Work closely with Product Development to ensure that all new services / offerings are fit for purpose, priced appropriately and has a scoped out market.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure that WGSN is positioned to win new business and maintain existing client base through a combination of mediums.
  • Ensure that all direct reports have personal development plans and capitalise on the use of sales tools that allow them to improve existing sales performance to reach aggressive targets.
  • To develop and execute clear strategies that delivers the healthy revenue goal achievements in the UK.
  • Work closely with the USA Head of Sales to ensure consistency of best practice and roll out of tools.
  • Own the training plans for all UK Sales people.
  • Develop new strategies for identifying a robust funnel of opportunities and create appropriate sales tools to support the local sales teams to be able to qualify and close deals.

  • Revenue targets are achieved in the UK principally through the sale of repeatable, profitable subscription sales.
Customer:
  • Client relationships are excellent. . Clients regard this person as having the gravitas and authorisation to negotiate at the most senior levels building trusted relationships. Seen as a key host at any UK sales event that supports the driving of new business. Corporate and Key accounts have an established customer plan and any risk / growth accounts are flagged and have appropriate plans in situ. Monthly activity plans are used together with account plans for all new sales.
People:
  • The UK Head of Sales will be regarded by his/her team as an inspiration and a role model. Team members feel motivated and all have personalised development plans that contribute towards overall business goals. They understand the strategic plan and all have an established role to play within that plan.
Product development:

Sales and Account Manager – Polish Speaking

WGSN currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales and account manager for Central and Eastern Europe to join the team based in London.

The role will involve managing a client base of around 25 clients across central and Eastern Europe. Acting as the main point of contact to deal with all queries, this position plays an essential role growth of WGSN in this area. Training customers on the website functions and on how to make the most of the website features will also be the responsibility of this person, so excellent communication skills and the ability to understand client needs and wants is essential.

Along with account management for central and Eastern Europe the role also involves targets for new business sales in Poland. Responsible for identifying, prospecting and generating new business in Poland this role will involve at least 50% sales activity.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in new business development and account, client development. Experience of the fashion or creative industry would be an advantage although not essential however all candidates need to have a genuine interest in fashion and an understanding of how the industry operates.

This is a critical role within the sales team and requires a dedicated and enthusiastic person who is committed to offering a superior level of customer service to their clients and has the passion and drive to generate new business in Poland.

Sales Executive - China

Purpose:

Identify and explore opportunity to expand new business in China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve sales targets as agreed with line manager
  • Plan strategically on the assigned territory within China
  • Generate leads, conduct cold calling and product presentations in order to achieve sales objectives
