What Goes Around Comes Around opens at Astor Place

Behind these heavy, salvaged gymnasium doors is the latest venture of New York City-based archive and retailer What Goes Around Comes Around: a newly-christened vintage emporium at Astor Place on Lafayette Street, rendering WGACA the unofficial mecca for downtown vintage.  Vaulted ceilings and stark white columns contribute to a sense of airiness and space rarely found in a vintage store environment, which- combined with the beautifully-executed visual merchandising- does a lot to encourage browsing at length in this heavy foot-traffic neighborhood.  WGACA’s signature selection of vintage denim and T-shirts lines shelves and display tables alongside workwear, accessories, apparel, and customized pieces from studded converse to [WGACA] logo-adorned military jackets.  Our favorite: the customized denim cutoffs. Be sure to swing by for a dose of downtown cool.

What Goes Around Comes Around, 440 Lafayette Street at Astor Place, New York City. Monday – Saturday, 12pm – 10pm, Sunday, 12pm – 8 pm.

WGACA founders and owners Gerard Maione & Seth Weisser.
