Runway Update: Slips ‘n’ Underthings
By Anna Glassman

Slips, pajamas and lacy bras all found their way to the Paris runways.

Mar 02, 2012

The slip floated onto the Paris runways this week, materializing at Balenciaga (left) and Nina Ricci (right) in slightly more defined variations (compared to last season’s minimalist bias cuts) crafted out of contrast panels of fabric. Nicolas Ghesquière also sent down a handful of super-corseted peplum camis at the Balenciaga show, while Peter Copping opted for a more relaxed pajama set in chiffon and lace at Nina Ricci. We, personally, loved Guillaume Henry’s lingerie reveal at Carven: This red-hot bell-shaped frock (center) with plunging neckline blended just the right amount of Parisian coquette and vampy seductress.
