Men’s File “The Misfits” Photo Shoot — Behind the Scene

Christophe Loiron offers a behind the scene look at “The Misfits” shoot for Men’s File Denim & Workwear Special.

In October 2012, Christophe Loiron of Mister Freedom® contributed as the guest stylist for a photo shoot for Men’s File, a Denim & Workwear Special. Loiron released a selection of images on his blog earlier this year that offers a behind the scene look at the ranch session.

Readers who are familiar with the “The Misfits” shoot from Men’s File‘s 8th edition will be happy to see a closer look at what went down off-camera on that weekend in Palms, California. Photographed and directed by Matt Hind, the feature story takes inspiration from John Huston’s 1961 “The Misfits.” Christophe Loiron, owner and designer of Mister Freedom, contributed as the guest stylist for the shoot, decking-out real McCoy cowboys and horse riders, Doug Brown and Anthony Panzarella, in a wardrobe of Mister Freedom, Double RL, Mustang Jeans, and LVC. Burlesque extraordinaire Miss Banbury Cross was exclusively flown in from London to play the quintessential role of Marilyn.

Take a look at the full session on Matt Hind’s website, or alternatively pick up the current January 2013 Men’s File Denim & Workwear issue, which is accompanied by an insightful and inspired text by creative director Nick Clements.
