Opened earlier this month, One Leicester Street is a stylish hotel, restaurant and bar- all in one. Located in the middle of China Town just on the border of ever-busy Leicester Square, this small hotel offers a calming environment with a soothing color scheme dominated by slate grey, bright white and petrol blue complemented by chic Scandinavian-inspired Mid-Century interiors. Designed by local London architects Universal Design Studio, the hotel offers 15 chic rooms as well as an excellent restaurant headed by Tom Harr (formerly at St John Chinatown). With a focus on contemporary British cuisine, the restaurant is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focal point on sharing plates with the minimalist presentation perfectly complementing this calming urban space.  –Anna Jacobsen
