The Italian food collective are celebrating their 10th anniversary and a new Milanese studio during Salone Internazionale de Mobile in Milan this week – a handful of installations based on the communicating power of food will be dotted at different locations around the city.
Already renowned for their sensorial and convivial eating experiences, which often comprise temporary bars, performances, food concepts and workshops, the food group have teamed up with design platform Design Marketo to sell everyday objects, collected over ten years in surprise envelopes, to visitors – enabling them to own a piece of the Arabeschi archive.
Additionally, di Latte will be working with Studio Toogood on their la cura installation, (hosted at Tom Dixon’s MOST Salone – see our earlier blogpost) in which they will serve up a re-energizing elixir to restore visitor’s spirits during the design fair.
Two other projects include an event with design brand Discipline on the values of everyday pleasure and the luxury of simplicity, and for Japanese furniture brand Karimoku New Standard, they will serve drinks and dishes at Era Studio Apartment Gallery, referencing the wood with which the furniture has been made from.
