Ralph Lauren celebrated their first American shopfront for Denim & Supply in their hometown of New York.
We love the Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply line and have been pretty excited about the brand since its inception back in F/W 2011. The RL sub-label has opened just a few stand-alone stores, including one in Tokyo but last night Ralph Lauren celebrated their first American shopfront in their hometown of New York.
To celebrate the opening at 99 University Place, the Ralph Lauren team invited bloggers, fashion journalists and Stylesight to enjoy a sneak peek at the 4,000 square foot space.
The storefront resembles a rustic and worn artists loft. Young fashion bloggers, like Keiko Lynn, made themselves at home sipping beers and cocktails among the worn wooden floors, scattered with lush, yet well-loved rugs. High ceilings and brick walls added to the broken-in feel. Large, aluminum spotlights highlight walls full of merchandise for both young men’s and juniors, offset only by vintage music posters and distressed leather seating topped with indigo pillows.
Denim & Supply exudes a bohemian, but rugged aesthetic. Being steps from Washington Square and NYU, the brand certainly speaks to their location and we wish them much success in their new home!
Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply is now open at 99 University Place.
