Paris: We headed to Espace Pierre Cardin yesterday to view the Lingerie Française Exhibit that just opened in conjunction with the Mode City and Interfiliere trade shows. The exhibit traces the history of lingerie, from the corsetry of the 1800s; to the introduction of Lycra®; to current collections from storied French brands like Chantelle, Aubade and Simone Perele. Robust with inspiration, the exhibition was the perfect way to kick off a weekend of intimates trade shows. This is definitely a must-see for any lingerie lovers who pass through Paris sometime between now and July 26th. A few more images below; in-depth report soon to follow.
