Eric Kvatek’s name may not be well known outside photographer circles, but in fact he is behind some pretty iconic and beautiful denim imagery.

We recently came across the website of Eric Kvatek – his name may not be well known outside photographer circles, but in fact he is behind some pretty iconic and beautiful denim imagery for PRPS, Kapital, Replay and Free People.

Eric is N.Y.-based but his assignments take him all over the world. His images have a very strong “free spirit” attitude as well as a good dose of hippie-boho. Beaches, deserts and far-flung cities are often the backdrop, and the imagery suggests very playful shoots with laid-back experimentation and fun inevitably turning into iconic, arresting images.

Most famous for his prolific work with Japanese cult brand Kapital, he has a huge back catalogue of work that is definitely worth exploring on his packed website. We make sure we buy every Kapital catalogue as it is released, and each one is a tome of inspiration – here you can get a big slice of Kapital pie without the expensive airfare to Tokyo!

His Blog is also worth checking out for all his recent projects. Currently up: his latest shoot in Mexico for Kapital.
