Taking over the historic National Museum of Science and Technology, and set to be the highlight of the design fair, MOST will become a ‘carnival environment’, inviting the freshest designers and curators, working across the disciplines of technology, art, design, fashion, materials and new media, to exhibit innovative work under an overriding theme.
Smaller and larger exhibits will be staged both inside and outside the building, with talks and lectures from global, design practitioners hosted in the museum’s grand auditorium throughout the week.
“We have created a place where we can demonstrate the new democratization and hyperactive innovation of technology in art, food, fashion, manufacturing and communication,” explains creator Tom Dixon to Dezeen.
Exhibitors include Transnatural, Blu Dot, David Weeks Studio, Designers Block, Studio Toogood and Dezeen, while London eatery Dock Table will be popping up as Spring Table to serve food to visitors, who can dine on a 40-seat table installation created by Dixon’s interior design practice, Design Research Studio.
MOST will run from April 17 – 22 at National Museum of Science and Technology, 20123 Milan. For more information, click here.
