The Museum at FIT has launched their latest exhibit, this time featuring fancy footwork. Open to view through April 13th, the curation showcases a range of designers and silhouettes on dramatic display with dim-lit galleries spotlighting only the feature; footwear. Notable styles such as the Christian Louboutin ’Fetish’ extreme ballerina stilettos can be seen in the real (check out his collab with film-maker David Lynch). Nicholas Kirkwood has various features as well (including looks from his Keith Haring collection), adding to his escalating credibility after the BFC/Vogue named him the 2013 Fashion Fund winner. This is only to name a few of the many original pieces on view. –Savannah Todd
