The new collection from this Brazilian swimwear label features luxurious fabrics, innovative trims and vibrant prints.
The S/S 2012 lookbook for Brazilian brand Cyann just came across our desks, and while the weather outside is dark and drizzly, these vibrant suits and cover ups are putting us in the mood for summer fun. Beauty is in the details for Cyann, who combine exotic trims like crocodile leather and enameled ironwear with luxurious fabrics. Shades of coral, turquoise, acai and sea green combine with pure white and deep black for a dramatic nature-inspired palette. A cover up beaded with a lacy pattern sets the tone for the sophisticated yet sexy collection. Among our favorites are a scarlet lingerie-like underwire top with a high-waisted bottom and a minimalist asymmetrical maillot with a woven strap.
For spring, Cyann also teamed up with SUB, a Brazilian popular swimwear and accessories retailer, on an exclusive collection to be sold in the stores. Launched on Fashion’s Night Out, girls clad in wildly printed bikinis and maillots walked the Shopping Cidade Jardim in São Paulo. The Cyann x SUB collection pulls together their signature animal prints with sunset-colored tie dye for a chic take on reptile scales. Blue and grey gradient snakeskin prints on pinup-y maillots and wide-band bikinis are coordinated with V-neck caftans for beach-to-street perfection.
Cyann is available exclusively in Brazil and is carried in SUB, which also features some our favorite brands like Clube Bossa, Andrea DeGreas and Jo De Mer – all highlighted in our recent Fiftytwo Showroom profile.
