FASHION FOR THE ELEMENTS

London: This season, Christopher Raeburn kept the focus of his ready-to-wear collection on his signature outerwear, with an emphasis on active-inspired layering and sporty details. Parkas and anoraks featured functional accents like elastic cord drawstrings and reflective tape, but took on a feminine feel in pearly white nylon and dress-like silhouettes with cinched waists. Serving as bottom layers, slim hooded dresses popped in bright pink polka dot jersey, and adjustable parachute skirts added buoyant volume. For super cold days, zig zag-quilted bomber jackets and ski pants offered chic warmth.  — Anna Jane Davis
