Tradeshow Hustle – Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2012

As the Active Team gears up for Day 2 of ORSM, we are basically running on fumes but we LOVE it. We have seen so many innovative new products for Spring/Summer 2013, it’s hard to pick our favorites. Big themes on the floor include water-repellent down, minimal trail stories for footwear and packs, women’s-specific programs, and lighter, faster, stronger materials across all categories for finished goods. And of course, the more ethically-produced or environmentally-friendly the better. We have also spotted a ton of blue hues, from aqua marine to cornflower. There is also a huge bump in water sports brands at the show, as kayaking, fishing and of course SUP brands make waves in the paddle sports tank, which is now conveniently positioned right in front of the New Exhibitor Pavilion (which we are going to check out later today).

For a quick update, make sure to check us out on Twitter, we have been posting top picks from OR @Stylesight. – Jeanine Pesce
